Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement by a Must be an heir of Dalir the Reclaimer, or chosen worthy by the sword itself, if no heirs remain)

Ammonmere is a legendary Dwarven artifact from the kingdom of Orthanc. The sword was forged for the first king, passed down to his heirs. the sword was rarely used for battle, as it was the Key to the Mountain Heart, another Orthancian artifact.

Forgefire of Dumathoin                                                                                                                                                                              Upon expending a charge as a bonus action, the blade glows a cold, white light. A rune glows equally cold, but brighter at the base of the blade. This rune cannot be seen otherwise. Then, the attuned user's attacks with the sword deals an additional 2d8 fire damage plus an additional d6 per character level, as well as providing 10 feet of dim light.

King Under The Mountain                                                                                                                                                                            When in within a half mile of the Mountain Heart, the blade glows a dark red, like a blade about to be forged. while within a quarter mile, the sword's attacks deal an additional 2d8 fire damage.

Tell of The Key                                                                                                                                                                                              If the blade is exposed to fire hot enough to melt the sword (i.e a forge, dragonfire, Heat Metal, ect.), a flowing Dwarvish pattern appears, glowing. the pattern is similar to the patterns seen on the doors and banners of Kazhad Amrol, the capital of the kingdom.   The blade remains cool to the touch otherwise. This effect happens regardless of the user's will or existance.
