Weapon (warhammer), artifact (requires attunement by a Cleric or Paladin of Moradin)

The hammer of the All-Father himself. Anym Forgrumm, otherwise known as Life Forger, is believed to have been used by Moradin himself to forge the life essence of Dwarves and bringing souls into the gems and rocks he used to create them.

Dormant state:

Anym Forgrumm is a +1 Warhammer.

The warhammer has 2 charges. The wielder can expend one charge to cast Heat Metal (DC 15) and Borrowed Knowledge, which is extended to tool proficiencies, once per day each.

This weapon has the Thrown (30/60) property and returns to the wielder's hand after a ranged attack.

Awakened state:

Anym Forgrumm is a +2 Warhammer.

While holding the hammer, you have resistance to fire damage and advantage on ability checks with Smith's Tools.

As a bonus action, you can speak the command word "Varekan" to summon a radiant flame that engulfs the head of the hammer, producing a 20-foot radius of dim-light. When the wielder hits with an attack while the hammer is glowing, those hit by the hammer take an additional 1d6 fire damage and 1d6 radiant damage.

Exalted State:

Anym Forgrumm is a +3 Warhammer.

Fire and radiant damage from the radiant flame increases to 2d6 and the light increases to 40-foot radius.

The DC for Heat Metal increases to 17 and the wielder can cast Fabricate once per day, at will.

The wielder is immune to exhaustion.

Proficiency with a Warhammer allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
