Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement by a Paladin)

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Whenever you use a Channel Divinity you impart Ardent with a Divine Charge. As a bonus action you may spend this divine charge to restore a spell slot of level 3 or lower.

Judgement: Your deft ability to handle divine magic has awakened something within Ardent. When you take the attack action and successfully land a hit you may spend a use of your Channel Divinity to imbue your weapon with divine fury. The target takes an additional 3d8 Radiant damage and must make a DC15 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save the target is paralyzed until the start of your next turn.

Channel Divinity - Ardent Champion: Once per long rest when an attacker that you can see hits you with a critical attack you may use can use your reaction to activate this ability. You gain resistance to the damage type of the attack for 1 minute. (This effect occurs after damage has been taken.) You may also make an attack against the creature that attacked you as your blade becomes swathed in divine radiance you may channel it in a 20 foot cone dealing 10d6 Radiant Damage to any creature it hits.
This ability may only be used by expending a Divine Charge from Ardent.

Ardent, a resplendent silver greatsword inlaid with gold. Forgotten for centuries the sword's appearance has dulled but a faint glow still radiates from the blade.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
