Wondrous Item, artifact (requires attunement)

Knowing that the greatest of her enemies relied not on domination of the physical- but of the mental- to completely subsume and manipulate. To crush, destroy, and re-mold the very being of a person. Antoinette sought to create a powerful defense against the most terrible enemy she- and her companions- found themselves facing.

The Diadem has a base of platinum sprawling up well-above the wearer's head, with it's tallest peaks reaching 10" in height. It is set with thirteen astral rubies, ten astral amethysts, three astral smoky quartz, twenty seven lucent amethysts, and shards of the crystal they had recovered.

Once placed upon the head it seems to hold itself on by some magical means.

The Diadem exudes an aura of authority and fills those around it with confidence.

Properties:
(If the wearer is Lawful they may attune to this item immediately without taking a long rest)

*
Mind-blank
The wearer is under the constant effects of the Mind Blank spell that cannot be dispelled by any means- even wish.
Force RealityThe Aura of Law that exudes from the wearer of this Diadem is so strong that even reality itself refuses to bend. Any magical illusions or effects that would change the terrain, lingering area of effect spells that cause damage or slow the wearer, or spells that would change the shape of a creature within 30' of the wearer fails - if the effect was already in place the wearer can make a (Charisma or Wisdom) Intimidation check to end these effects (except for -permanent- ground changing effects- such as the fissures caused by earthquake or holes dug with mold earth). Shapeshifters (such as changelings) that enter this area must make a charisma saving throw or immediately be forced into their natural effect.
This effect can only be used if the attuned creature is of a lawful alignment.
*Deathless Mentor - If the wearer of this Diadem is killed while attuned to it (regardless of whether or not it is being worn) they can choose to die as normal or for their spirit to move into a demi-plane housed inside of the Diadem. The demi-plane takes the form of a large castle and is staffed by illusory servants. Spirits residing inside of the Diadem may communicate with anyone currently touching or attuned to the Diadem (regardless of distance). Spirits residing in the Diadem may choose to 'move-on' from the Diadem at any point.
Should the wearer of the Diadem anger the spirits inside the Diadem they may force negative effects on the attuned wearer (as chosen by the DM). These effects may be negated by a DC 24 charisma saving throw. On a failure any negative effects last for one week- or until the wearer willingly chooses to un-attune themselves.
Succeeding this saving throw protects the attuned wearer from any negative effects for a week.
After a week the saving throw must be repeated or attunement immediately ends.
*Adamant Leader-  Creatures of the wearer's choice within 30' gain immunity to the charmed, frightened, and stunned conditions - any creatures already under the effects of these conditions may immediately re-roll the saving throw to end these effects. They may choose to use the attuned wearer's saving throw if it is higher.
