Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement by a Requires Attunement by a Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock or Wizard)

An ornate amulet with a wide golden pendant scrawled with mythic runes. The pendant opens to reveal three compartments for which gemstones can be inserted. While attuned to a magical user, any gemstone placed in the amulet will cause the amulet to slowly absorbs the magical power of the gemstone, without draining the gem of its magical essence. Once the essence is absorbed, the spellcaster may use the energy stored in the amulet in place of the gemstone as the material component of the spell. The amulet can store the power of up to three gemstones at once. a Spell requiring "dust" from a particular gemstone, will use 50% of the magic power of the gemstone itself, but the amulet cannot contain natural gem dust. The charging rate is based on the value of the gemstones, as follows:

1 day: Azurite, Banded Agate, Blue Quartz, Eye Agate, Hematite, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, Moss agate, Obsidian. Rhodochrosite, Tiger Eye, or Turquoise

3 days: Bloodstone, Carnelian, Chalcedony, Chrysoprase, Citrine, Jasper, Moonstone, Onyx, Quartz, Sardonyx, Star Rose Quartz, or Zircon

5 days: Amber, Amethyst, Chrysoberyl, Coral, Garnet, Jade, Jet, Pearl, or Spinel

8 days: Alexandrite, Aquamarine, Black Peral, Blue Spinel, Peridot, or Topaz

14 days: Black Opal, Blue Sapphire, Emerald Opal, Fire Opal, Star Ruby, Star Sapphire, or Yellow Sapphire

30 days: Black Sapphire, Diamond, Jacinth, or Ruby

Magical power stacks across gemstones of the same type (i.e. three of the same gemstone will charge in 1/3 of the time required). If the gemstone is removed from the amulet, or if the amulet is damaged, removed, or unattuned, the stored magic dissipates and is no longer contained in the amulet.
