The gems of the land are used to stop a flower from blooming. Said flower is a god that will create immense gravitational pulls and have the universe implode on itself, but it only blooms when human life on earth has been eradicated.
The amethyst plays a strong roll in it because once it is equipped, you and every party members within 30 ft. will have an advantage on Dexterity skill checks.
