This amulet is fashioned after a hunting dog with its jaws firmly clamped.
As an action, you can hold this amulet aloft and attempt to close the jaws of a creature you can see within 30 feet. The creature must make a Strength saving throw (DC 18) or else its jaws are clamped shut for 1 minute. While its jaws are shut, the creature cannot make any Bite attacks, and all creatures have disadvantage on any Wisdom (Perception) checks made trying to understand its speech. Additionally, the affected creature cannot cast any spells with Verbal components, nor take any actions that require use of its breath, such as a dragon's breath weapon. The creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
This amulet has two charges, and regains all charges on a long rest.
