A chained amulet of gold with an opal inlay. In the opal you can see what looks to be a rolled-up rope.

Allows those that don the amulet to animate rope (or chain, vines or anything that can be considered as a rope). The rope will obey basic commands such as tie, entangle, squeeze, trip etc. 

Hit points:

  • Rope: 2 HP
  • Vine: 5 HP
  • Chain: 20 HP
  • Other rope type items HP will be decided by the DM 

Grappling saving throw is a strength check of 15 each round. If the DC is failed the creature continues to be grappled, successful DC the creature breaks free.

Bonus action: If a creature is tied or wrapped with the rope a command of squeeze can be made for 1d6 damage. 

Attacking a grappled creature:  If a creature that is grappled by the rope is attacked the attack is successful if:

  • Melee attack: Attacker must make a successful strength check 15 to keep from damaging or breaking the rope.
  • Range attack: Attacker must make a successful dexterity check 15 to keep from damaging or breaking the rope.
