You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
This weapons has 1d4+1 charges that replenish daily at dawn. As a bonus action you can expend a charge and the blade changes form into a living black tentacle. While in its tentacle form its reach increases to 10 feet.
As part of the same bonus action, you can make one trip attack attempt on a creature up to 10 feet away. A large or smaller target makes a (DC 15) Strength saving throw or falls prone. At the end of your turn the tentacle returns to its blade form and its reach becomes 5 feet again.
Curse. This weapon is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. Until the curse is broken with remove curse or similar magic, you are unwilling to part with the weapon, keeping it within reach at all times.
Additionally, whenever you roll a 1 on an attack roll using this weapon, the weapon temporarily reverts to its tentacle form, bends and strikes at you. Make a new attack roll with advantage against your own AC. If the result is a hit, you take damage as if you had attacked yourself with the weapon.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
