Weapon (whip), legendary (requires attunement by a monk performing 1 hour of mediation while touching Miracle Whip, and expending 2 ki points.)

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Once attuned, Miracle Whip gains 10 charges, and  while attuned your maximum number of ki points are reduced by 2. Miracle Whip regains 4 charge at dawn,  after completing a long rest you may reduce your maximum ki points to regain additional charges, regaining 2 charges per maximum ki point reduced. This reduction to maximum ki points lasts until you complete a long rest. 

  • Miracle Whip may be used to retrieve an unattended object that weighs not more than 10 pounds, within reach.
  • You may wrap this whip around an item to cast the mending spell on it. (1 charge)
  • When you make an attack with Miracle Whip you may expend charges to activate one or more of the following abilities:
    • Increase Miracle Whip's reach to 15ft until the end of your next turn. (1 Charge)
    • You can use an attack to can cast cure wounds using wisdom as your spell casting ability, on an ally within reach of miracle whip (1 - 5 charges, 1 charge per spell level)
    • Change Miracle Whip's damage type to your choice of cold, fire, lightning, or radiant, and increase Miricle Whip's damage by 1d6, both of these last until the end of your next turn. (1 Charge).
  • You may use your reaction to do the following:
    • If someone attempts to cast a spell within your reach, you may cast  counterspell using wisdom as your spell casting ability. (3 charges)
    • Use Miracle Whip to parry attacks by casting shield (1 charge)

Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
