Created by a hermit of the ethereal plane, this longbow seems to phase in and out of existence perpetually. You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
Arrows fired from this weapon travel through both the material plane and the ethereal plane, appearing transparent as seen from either plane. These arrows do an additional 2d8 force damage upon impact.
While holding this bow, the user is bathed in ethereal energy, which causes the user to phase between the ethereal and material planes without warning. After each use of the bow, roll a d20. On a 9 or lower, you transfer to the ethereal plane if you were on the material plane, or to the material plane if you were on the ethereal plane. If you occupy the same spot as a solid object or creature when you return to the material plane, you are immediately shunted to the nearest unoccupied space that you can occupy and take force damage equal to twice the number of feet you are moved.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Force, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
