Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement)

This golden plate armor, forged in the fires of the city of Brass by the Grand Sultan of the Efreet gives the following effects:

As a bonus action, you can don or doff this armor. When doffed the armor takes the form of a solid golden belt with an orichalchium crystal in the center of it.

While wearing this armor, you gain a +3 bonus to AC and as an action you can enter the following forms. You can only enter one form at a time.

Form of The Valiant

As an action, you can magically become the Avatar of Redemption. You represent the path of Bahamut in its most true form. Your armor gleams radiantly, and your eyes glow bright blue. While in this form, you gain the following benefits.

  • You have resistance to all damage dealt by other creatures (their attacks, spells, and other effects).
  • Whenever a creature damages you, it takes radiant damage equal to half the amount it dealt to you.
  • You gain an additional 50 points in your pool for Lay on Hands.

If you attack a creature, cast a spell on it, or deal damage to it by any means but this feature, neither benefit works against that creature until you finish a long rest.

Form of the Exalt

As an action, you can magically become an Avatar of Vengence. You represent the path of Tiamat in its most true form. Your armor becomes wreathed in shadow, as dark black smoke begins to bellow out of the crevasses in your armor and your eyes glow with a burning red hatred. While in this form, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:

  • When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can make one additional attack as part of that action.
  • When you make a melee attack against a creature roll a d6. On a hit, you deal an additional 2d8 damage. The damage type is determined by the d6 dice roll.
    • 1: Fire
    • 2: Lightning
    • 3: Acid
    • 4: Poison
    • 5: Cold
    • 6: Force
  • Your melee weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 on the d20.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
