Amhearst's Guide to Tonics and Spirits

A small leather-bound book, containing recipes for various mixed drinks. The gold lettering on the cover reads "Amherst's Guide to Spirits and Tonics". Tucked into the back cover is an inventory log detailing when deliveries are made, however the "Delivered by" column is always blank

The creature that has the book in their possession may cast a modified version of Purify Food and Drink. The Guide must be read before this can happen. This action takes 5 minutes.

Apparently Mr. Amherst thinks alcohol is more pure than water... any water purified by this spell will turn to an alcohol of the player's choice
