Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement by a Monk with 1 to 4 levels in Monk, worn, activated by recovering from at least 1 point of exhaustion)

A heavy golden chain holds a Jade Dragon statue with red gemstones in its eyes. To most, this is nothing but a trinket, but in the right hands....

If a monk places this on, they will immediately experience one point of exhaustion.

After recovering from one point of exhaustion, a monk will have a vision of a jade green dragon circling high above them. The dragons voice will boom "Assistance to the fledgling monk, a price to pay when asked".

The monk can then spend ki points to fill up to the two slots on the amulet. These points will be good for a 10 day. If spent, the points can only be restored by spending them into the amulet after sunrise the next day of the slot being expended.

As long as the necklace is worn, there is a percent chance (once per day, after a long rest) that a young green dragon will shatter the amulet. If this happens, the young green dragon will consider the player, and all those around it hostel. Chance is as follows:

5% x monk level x #of charges. I.E. a 2nd level monk, with 2 charges would have to roll a 20 or less (20% chance) for the dragon to emerge.

If the monk is above 4th level, or advances beyond 4th level while wearing this amulet, the necklace breaks free. A Young Green Dragon is summoned. The dragon has a 50% chance of attacking the monk and all those around it.

Notes: Each charge allows you to store 1 Ki point. Once stored, it will remain for a 10 day, after which it will need to be replenished. On use the point can only be restored by 'casting' another Ki point into it the next day., Monk with 1 to 4 levels in Monk, worn, activated by recovering from at least 1 point of exhaustion, Buff, Jewelry
