Made by the Guar R&D Corps. This Lightning Arc Gun has a self contained energy unit with 5 charges; must be recharged when depleted.
On use (see Prototype description below), target takes 2d6 Lightning Damage (Target must be within 45ft line of sight) with a successful attack roll. Subsequently, there is a 50% chance the Lightning will Arc to the closest small or medium living creature within 15ft not already damaged by Lightning. On a successful Arc, new target takes 2d6 damage. Subsequently, there is a 50% chance the Lightning will Arc to the closest small or medium living creature within 15ft not already damaged by Lightning. On a successful Arc, new target takes 2d6 damage. Arc will continue until a failed chance roll, or there are no living creatures within 15ft that are not already damaged by Lightning.
Prototype: This Lightning Arc Gun has a 25% chance to fail when trying to use. If the gun fails, user takes 2d6 Lightning Damage. Subsequently, there is a 50% chance the Lightning will Arc to the closest small or medium living creature within 15ft not already damaged by Lightning. On a successful Arc, new target takes 2d6 damage. Subsequently, there is a 50% chance the Lightning will Arc to the closest small or medium living creature within 15ft not already damaged by Lightning. On a successful Arc, new target takes 2d6 damage. Arc will continue until a failed chance roll, or there are no living creatures within 15ft that are not already damaged by Lightning.
Prototype: This Lightning Arc Gun has a 5% to explode when trying to use. If the gun explodes, user takes 5d6 Lightning Damage.
