this item can be any armour but D&D beyond doesn't allow that
while attuned to this item you can forgo an attack to surround yourself in a rigid crystal and activate all of the following effects until the start of your next turn:
- you gain 100 temporary hit-points
- you are paralyzed
- you are immune to the condition: invisible
- you cannot gain the conditions: petrified, poisoned, blinded, deafened, prone - but if you were affected by them before activating the effect you are still affected by them.
- if you run out of temporary hit points all effects end instantly(the crystal shatters).
when used, this item cannot be used until a minute passes.
level 2:
if you fulfil this items upgrade conditions (I recommend something like "x time attuned" or "y times used") you can activate the effect as a reaction in response to something which would damage you.
Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
