Armor (plate), legendary (requires attunement)

This ancient, bronze-like armor feels unnaturally cold to the touch. You have a +3 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.

Curse of the Revenant. This armor is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. You can't doff it unless you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic. If a creature kills you while you are attuned to the armor, you return to life at the start of your next turn. You immediately regain half your maximum hit points and rise to your feet. For the next 24 hours, you gain the following effects:

  • Your creature type becomes undead and you are immune to necrotic damage, the frightened and charmed conditions and you lose any points of exhaustion you had before you died.
  • You know the exact direction to the creature that killed you, unless it's on another plane of existence, and you have advantage on attack rolls against it.
  • If you can see the creature that killed you, you can take the Dash action as a bonus action, but you can only move to a space closer to the creature.

After 24 hours has passed or the target of your curse dies, you immediately fall dead again and the armor becomes nonmagical, ending your attunement to it.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Bonus: Armor Class, Combat, Warding, Cursed, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
