Wondrous Item, legendary (requires attunement by a Monk or Fighter with at least 16 Dexterity and 16 Wisdom)

These mixed-martial-arts hand and feet wraps were magically imbued with the battle memories and fighting techniques of the ancient Kozukuran monk Zomyo, which she developed after witnessing Kozukuran River and Typhoon Lung Dragons in the heat of battle.

The Tun Mi Lung, or Typhoon Dragon Technique, accelerates and guides the wearer's fists and kicks to their targets like bolts of lightning, giving them a +3 bonus to their unarmed strikes' attack and damage rolls. On unarmed strike critical hits, the wearer's target takes an additional 10 points of lightning damage. Additionally, the wearer can make two unarmed strikes as one free action, once per long rest.

The Chiang Lung, or River Dragon Technique, redirects the force and damage of melee attacks back at the attacker like a flowing and crashing river. Once per short rest, as a reaction, when the wearer of the sparring wraps is hit with a melee attack, they can halve that attack's damage by redirecting the other half of the damage back at the attacker as force damage in a swift unarmed strike with no attack roll required; alternatively, the wearer can choose to take their foe's attack's full damage and deal the full amount of damage to the attacker as force damage.

Once worn, these mixed martial arts sparring wraps transform to appear as tattoos of the Kozukuran River and Typhoon Lung Dragons, which seem to excite, shimmer and flow during combat.

Notes: Bonus: Unarmed Attacks, Damage: Lightning, Monk or Fighter with at least 16 Dexterity and 16 Wisdom, Warding, Handwear
