A racing chariot allows one rider to mount four separate beasts (typically horses). The beasts share the slowest mount's movement speed. When using beasts with the Ideal Mount feature, you gain each beast's strength modifier to your attack roll. The damage dealt by your weapon is increased by the amount given by each mount as well. (i.e. if all four are Destriers providing a +6 bonus to attack and 1d12 to damage, and the rider is a first level fighter who has +2 proficiency bonus and 16 strength, while being proficient in a lance, their attack roll will be 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 3 + 2 + 1d20, and their damage will be 5d12 + 3 piercing damage; However if the same fighter is using two Coursers and two Palfreys, the attack roll will be 4 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 1d20, and their damage will be 1d12 + 2d10 + 2d6 + 3 piercing damage. If the weapon in that second example has the Flame Tongue benefit, the damage will increase to 1d12 + 2d10 + 2d6 + 3 piercing damage and 2d6 fire damage.)
While using a Charge Attack, or the Dash action, you cannot turn a Racing Chariot 90 degrees or more.
