Aviator hat of Psionic Shielding

The Aviator Hat of Psionic Shielding provides resistance to Psychic/Psionic damage, (i.e. damage halved). Originally developed to protect sailors upon astral ships from the Psychic Winds upon the Astral planes, the Gith and the abducted crews found it also prevented those with psychic/magic abilities from casting.  This made the aviator hat quite an innocuous yet effective item during the Githyanki wars.

One of only few aviator hats to be found on the material plane was bought there by Sandoral and Moby of The Nameless Few after the infamous bag in a bag incident.
