Arrow of Chicken Polymorph

An arrow of chicken polymorph is magic ammunition grants the polymorph spell to its target changing the victim into a chicken. The target must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be affected for 1 hour. The arrow has no magical effect on a shapechanger, a chicken, or a creature with 0 hit points.

Once an arrow of chicken polymorph deals its damage to a creature, it becomes a nonmagical arrow. The arrow regains the 1 expended charge daily at dawn. This arrow can’t be broken, except when it is within an antimagic field.

Other types of magic ammunition of this kind exist, such as bolts of chicken polymorph meant for a crossbow, though arrows are most common.
