Scattered throughout the multiverse are the splicing blades. Favored by those who care to get an upper get a quick upper hand with multiple attacks. In its base form it’s a +1 longsword, anyone that is attuned to it can use a bonus action to turn it into two + 1 shortswords, when attacking with each shortsword when you would apply an attack modifier, only apply half of what you normally would. As a bonus action you can turn it back into its base form by tapping them against each other. If one of the shortswords is destroyed, the other is no longer considered magic. Anyone who is attuned to this object can use there long rest to convert the Splicing Blades into a Raid Dagger (see below) this change is only reversible by the wish spell or divine intervention.
Raid Dagger- this appears and has the same stats as a normal dagger. When it is thrown it creates 10 duplicates that have the same stats as a normal dagger. At the end of your next turn the duplicates disappear leaving only the Raid Dagger. Any character capable of catsing a spell can take an hour to add a number of daggers into the Raid Dagger, costing 100 gold for each one.
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
