Posted Sep 13, 2026If you use the DM's guide table, as an Uncommon magic item, they should be priced at around 400 GP. If you were going to craft it yourself, it would be 200GP and 10 days of crafting time.

Posted Sep 13, 2026I tend to agree that these seem particularly powerful/useful for something of Uncommon rarity. I'm kind of wondering if they should have included the Sunlight Sensitivity property with them, so at least the player would have to remember to equip/unequip them depending on the conditions. Although... Drow doesn't even suffer from that sensitivity any longer, so might not make thematic sense in 5.5e. DM could always say they function for a certain number of minutes per day, and fully recharge at dusk or something.
