Amy Vorpahl's Longsword

This cursed sword was said to be created when a Vorpal sword was weilded by a mad woman who could not stop laughing has she slaughtered her enemies.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage. Additionally you gain 2 charges to cast Tasha's hideous laughter at dc13

When you attack a creature that has at least one head with this weapon and roll a 20 on the attack roll, you cut off one of the creature's heads. The creature dies if it can't survive without the lost head. A creature is immune to this effect if it is immune to slashing damage, doesn't have or need a head, has legendary actions, or the GM decides that the creature is too big for its head to be cut off with this weapon. Such a creature instead takes an extra 6d8 slashing damage from the hit.

However when the above effects are triggered, the weilded has Tasha's Hideous Laughter cast on them by the weapon, with a DC13 save. When cast in this way, the spell does not need a charge and does not consume a charge. If failed, the weilders face also distorts to a heavy under-bite and stretched lips until the spell effects wear off.

Curse. This weapon is cursed, and becoming attuned to it extends the curse to you. Until the curse is broken with remove curse or similar magic, you are unwilling to part with the weapon, keeping it within reach at all times. In addition, you have disadvantage on attack rolls made with weapons other than this one.

 

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
