The blade of this weapon is made of pure, volatile energy While inactive, the blade vanishes, and looks like nothing more than a hilt made of an unusual mineral. You gain +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Any piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage dealt by this weapon is instead dealt in the form of force damage. If this weapon lands a critical hit, a beam of energy courses from the tip of the blade, forcing everyone in a 15 by 15-foot line in front of you to make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d10 force damage. The target initially hit by the crit automatically fails this save. If this weapon rolls a critical fail, it shorts out, and the weapon can't be used until after your next long rest. While drawn and functional, the sword emits 5ft of bright light and 5ft of dim light.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
