This ornate silver censer stands about 1 foot tall and weighs 1 pound. Using its tethered small silver mallet, you can strike it as an action, pointing it at an enemy or object within 120 feet of you that can be affected by the associated spell cast. The censer issues a light metallic ping and adds its augment to the associated spell cast.
All spells cast through the censer as a focus gain an extra damage die of the associated type, ie: a magic missle will gain an extra missle, a fireball will gain an extra damage die, an eldritch blast will gain an extra missle, etc. If the spell cast requires the target to make a saving throw, the target receives a -2 modifier to the resulting die roll. The wielder also benefits from improving two saving throws they make by +2 on the first two saves made that day. Any ally within 10 feet of them also benefits from this by gaining a +1 to their saving throws on the first two saves made that day.
Any divination spells cast while using the censer will benefit from a +2/10% increased chance of success. These will be counted against the 4 spell per day usage count.
The wielder gains back the use of a single ability/spell slot used that day during a short rest.
The censer can be used to augment 4 spells per day but may always be used as a focus.
