This Armor is exquisitely crafted with scrollwork and flares at the shoulders. Similar to Drow Elf armor, it is made of dark gray interlocking plates that shine deep emerald green in light, with linking dark chain and supple black leather straps.   

The wearer cannot suffer critical hits when struck in the areas protected, reducing the damage received to normal damage (plus modifiers).  This armor also provides resistance to normal, non-magical (forged) weapons. 

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
