This weapon takes the form of a Shortbow that seems to be made of various types of wood and leather, none ever particularly recognizable.
Woodland Friends: Beasts are not hostile to the wielder of this weapon, unless the wielder attacks them. This also accounts for tamed beasts, who will refuse to attack the wielder even under order to do so.
Bond of the Beast: The wielder of this weapon can use it as the magical focus to bond with one wild beast of their choosing (CR 1 or lower). This beast becomes the wielder's companion, under the effects of the Find Familiar spell as a Fey, however the creature can not be sent away and it can not deliver the wielder's spells. If a creature under this ability dies, it's soul gets sent to the Feywild, and this ability can not be used until the next dawn as Treestrider's Bow mourns the passing of this creature.
Proficiency with a Shortbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
Notes: Proficiency: Shortbow, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Range, Two-Handed, Vex
