Ankylosaurus Half-Plate Armour

Half-plate armour crafted from interlocking Ankylosaurus osteoderms and infused with spiritual energies to protect the bearer. Strangely lightweight and highly durable, this armour grants resistance to non-magical slashing and piercing damage, while allowing unencumbered movement.

The armour's spiritual energies grant the bearer the ability to cast polymorph upon themselves only, and only to take the form of an Ankylosaurus. This consumes the single charge on this item to do so. At dawn, roll a d20 and add your wisdom modifier. On a 11 or higher, the charge is replenished. On a roll of 10 or lower, the charge does not reset. 

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
