Ring, unknown rarity (requires attunement)

Ailluin's Ring may only have one master and requires attunement by defeating the previous owner of the ring.

This ring can be upgraded with each archmage defeated permanently granting an additional 1d4 to the missile count, for a maximum of 1d20 + 4d4 missiles.

This ring grants you the ability to cast the 9th level spell of rain & ruin, regardless of the user's spellcasting ability. The ring has 6 charges for the following other properties. The ring regains 1d6 expended charges daily at dawn. If all charges are spent, roll 1d6. If the result is 1, the ring breaks. If the result is a 6, the ring will release a barrage or rain towards all beings within 30ft.

Rain: You can expend 3 charges as an action to fire 1d20 tiny missiles from the ring with a range of 60ft, and without the need for an attack roll. You may redirect as many missiles as you wish to individual targets. Each missile does 1 fire damage + your intelligence modifier.

Ruin: Expending a further 1 charge and a bonus action, the missiles can instead be focused onto the targets armour. Every 2 missiles may remove 1 AC from the target per missile regardless of damage, for one minute. This can also be used against shields and equipment that provides bonus AC.

Curse: If the wearer of this ring is not attuned to it, once per day the wearer is required to make a wisdom saving throw with DC 16. If the wearer fails this saving throw any spells they cast today are disadvantaged.

Notes: Ailluin the Great once used this ring in the defence of Plirebridge, against the army of the four tribes.
