This charm appears to be an ordinary but intricately carved Krynn amulet made of moonstone and suspended on a silver chain. At its creation, its carvings are designed to pinpoint the soul of a specific individual. If the amulet comes within 10 feet of its intended soul, it begins to emit a soft violet light. The light disappears when amulet is moved out of range of its target.
When attuned to this item, a creature will always know the direction of its intended soul while they occupy the same plane as the wearer. If the wearer is within 120 feet of the intended, the pair may communicate telepathically.
If the amulet's intended attunes to it, they may use it to replace the material components of several spells targeting themselves-- Soul Cage, Magic Jar, and Revivify. Once used, the amulet loses this ability.
