Ancient Plate of Light

Made of mithral, a light, flexible metal, the armor doesn't impose disadvantages in stealth skill roles.

This armor is bestowed upon a fey knight when they have sworn the oath of the ancients and have proven themselves true champions of the light. The metal is made of bright mithral, which shines in the sun with radiance. The should pauldrons are reminiscent of 3 large strong leaves layered on top of one another. Among the plates of the bright silvery mithral, there are veins of golden material that are reminiscent of sunlight, even when no sun shines. There are patterns of falling leaves along the back, more highly concentrated by the shoulders. The armor is a blend of shining mithral, radiant gold, and shades of green. Reminiscent of spring and summer.

When a knight is given this armor, the armor is bonded to them. While conscious, the armor cannot be removed forcibly. When unconscious, the armor retracts from the wearer's body and disappears, magically, into the wearer's amulet, given to the knight. This amulet can be removed but the armor cannot be summoned forth by any but the paladin bonded to the armor unless the ancients gift the amulet to a new champion. Upon regaining consciousness, the knight knows the location of their amulet. If they regain the amulet, they can summon forth the armor again. 

When the armor is present, the amulet disappears beneath the armor.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
