Amulet of Teo’Orakk

A dark amulet in the shape of a teardrop, containing the essence of Teo’Orakk, lord of the Far Plane.

When activated, The amulet allows for the following two transformations, each lasting for 10 minutes:

Night Stalker: The user sprouts ashen wings, gaining a flying speed of 50 ft. and 120 ft. of superior darkvision for the duration. When hit during flight in this form, any dexterity saving throws made to stay airborne can be made with the charisma stat instead.

Abyss Walker: The user sprouts 10 black tentacles from their back, gaining a swimming speed of 50 ft. and 60 ft. of blindsight for the duration. When in this form, the creature can use a bonus action to attempt to grapple any creature within 10 ft. and use its charisma modifier instead of strength for this check. User can have up to 4 creatures simultaneously grappled in this way

This item also grants 2 additional features for sorcerers, each affecting sorcery points

Cosmic Alignment: the user can tap into the energy of the far plane to maximize the damage of a spell that deals cold or necrotic damage. The sorcery point cost is different for each spell level.

1st: 2 points

2nd: 3 points

3rd: 5 points

4th: 6 points

5th: 7 points

6th: 8 points

Cosmic Absorption: When the user is hit by a spell from a hostile creature that deals cold or necrotic damage, the user can use this energy to regain sorcery points. For every 10 points of damage taken by these damage types, user restores 1 sorcery point.

Additionally, this item grants an expanded spell list to the user, accessible anytime and requiring sorcerer spell slots of the appropriate level to use.
