An armor made of various lightweight materials, this suit is capable of enhancing a wearer’s stealth, speed and strength as well as durability. The chest, shoulders, helmet, gauntlets, and boots are all made of titanium plating. The abdomen, arms, legs, and neck areas are protected by a carbon-fiber/titanium mixed weave. The entire suit can have up to two major colors of the wearer’s choice with accents of black. There are also several nodes and tubes along the suit that seem to hold a mysterious energy. The energy seems to change color in tune with its user’s powers. The armor also bears a utility belt capable of increasing the wearer’s carrying capacity by 30 lbs.
The wearer can use the following abilities, each being triggered in their own way and having their own durations and charges.
Seeker Mode: Twice per day, triggered by an action use and lasting until your next turn, you are capable of seeing a variety of information pertaining to your environment and creatures within 50 feet of you through walls and floors. Upon activating this ability, a pulse of energy visible only to you springs from you and turns your vision into mostly blue tone static while highlighting items of interest and creatures. While looking at a creature, you know their heartbeat, status (calm, nervous, terrified, unconscious, or deceased), and their weapons and equipment. You can also see vehicles, crates and caches of equipment or money, and other potential items of interest. This information is updated at the beginning of each turn prior to each character/player making any movement, actions, etc.
Shurikin: A small throwing knife with no handle and shaped to the user’s specifications, like that of a bat or a simple sharp disk, these weapons are capable of dealing 1d4 damage and imposing the Stun condition on creatures no greater than one size larger than the wearer of the armor when they are thrown. Only 3 of these weapons can be held in the armor’s utility belt and more can be acquired by purchasing them from merchants.
Remote Control Shurikin: Similar to the Shurikin, this device can be controlled for up to 3 seconds after being thrown, increasing its chances to hit an enemy’s weak point. This can be used once and more can be purchased at a vendor or merchant.
Explosive Gel: Usable three times per purchase from a vendor, this semi-solid filled with explosive nanites can be sprayed on virtually any surface and remotely detonated. Spraying this gel on any surface fills a singular square foot of the surface it is used on. Enemies within 3 feet of the gel will be Stunned. If there are two charges of gel next to each other, detonating them will Incapacitate the nearest enemy and Stun any others within 6 feet. You may also perform a Perception check in order to determine if a structure or wall is weak. If it is, you may expend a charge of Explosive Gel to blow it up, potentially damaging enemies on the other side or either creating or destroying an obstruction.
Smoke Pellet: A small explosive carrying a mixture of chemicals that creates a harmless smoke cloud when hit, this sphere is covered in prongs that trigger a 5 foot radius cloud around the point of impact. When thrown or dropped, the cloud billows from the small explosion and shrouds an area in darkness. When the wearer of the Armor of the Modern Knight is caught in this cloud, the Seeker Mode automatically activates until the cloud dissipates. This is useful for attacking unsuspecting and disoriented foes in the darkness, as they are less likely to be able to defend themselves. This does not use a charge of Seeker mode.
Grapple and Glide: Your gauntlets are equipped with a motor-powered grappling hook and cape that can be used to glide. On your turn you may expend your movement speed in such a way where 1 foot of grappling distance or gliding distance uses 1/2 foot of walking distance. Additionally, you may use your grappling hook to Grapple an enemy less than or equal to 10 feet of you. If they are unable to free themselves by your next turn, you pull them at any point of your choice within 2 feet of you, then you may make an opportunity attack.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
Notes: Bonus: Stealth, Bonus: Speed (Walking), Bonus: Strength Ability Checks, Bonus: Armor Class, Stealth Disadvantage
