Ancient Scrolls are extremely powerful and mysterious artefacts. Legends says they were created a long time before the Calamity by the Gods themselves to be used by the demi-gods. For the common mortals these Ancient Scrolls are illegible and indecipherable. It is uncertain how or when it happens, but when a creature is able to decipher an Ancient Scroll (a chosen), it is said that the creature is destined to do great changes in the cosmology of the multiverse. It is also said that such a power is too great for certain types of creatures, possibly leading them to a painful death or banishment to an unknown universe where chaotic titans reign.
The chosen creature that can decipher the scroll mystery must Concentrate on it for ten consecutive minutes without interruption to be able to unleash its power. Upon its first reading the chosen can read the following commandments (french translation below):
- Luck favors the bold. Your fate is your own to grasp, and to do so is to have the Change Bringer behind you.
- Change is inevitable. The righteous can ensure that such change is for the better.
- Rise against tyranny. Fight for the freedom of yourself and others when you can, and inspire others to fight when you cannot.

- Le changement est inévitable. Les justes peuvent s'assurer qu'un tel changement est pour le mieux.
- Levez-vous contre la tyrannie. Battez-vous pour la liberté de vous-même et des autres quand vous le pouvez, et inspirez les autres à se battre quand vous ne le pouvez pas.
These are the commandments of the Prime Diety Avandra - The Change Bringer.
This unique Ancient Scroll is called The Ancient Scroll of Endless Path and was created by the Prime Diety Avandra. The purpose of an Ancient Scroll is rarely clear. By reading it, the chosen can conclude that its powers are link to the commandments. In this case, the powers of the scrolls are related to Destiny and Freedom. For exemple, the chosen can concentrate on the scroll if a life-changing event is going to happen, to bind the course of destiny to its favor, or use it to free an important being from the grasp of an dominant entity. There is no way to know the exact consequences engendered by the reading of an Ancient Scroll in most part because the scroll is also linked to the chosen's heart and mind. (this means its at the DM's discretion)
