You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. While attuned, it has the following additional properties.
Murderous Appetite
The axe deals an extra 1d4 necrotic damage to creatures that aren’t constructs or undead. If you use the axe to kill six of these creatures, then the damage die increases to 1d6. If eight more creatures are killed, the damage die increases to 1d8. If ten more creatures are killed, the damage die increases to 1d10. If 12 more creatures are killed the damage die increases to 1d12. Each creature must be killed within 24 hours of the last. If 24 hours pass and the axe has not been used to kill a creature, then the extra damage reverts back to 1d4.
Consume Vitality
After dealing damage with the axe, you can invoke the vampiric enchantment within it and gain temporary hit points equal to the necrotic damage dealt by the Murderous Appetite feature. Once used, this feature can't be used again until the next dusk.
Voracity
Your appetite is doubled and you must consume twice as much sustenance as normal or feel the effects of starvation.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Heavy, Two-Handed, Cleave
