At first glance, it seems to be a simple, metallic spear.
On closer inspection, however, it seems to be a tungsten spear, inscribed with runes, that glow a golden yellow; additionally, it seems to radiate a noticeable, but not uncomfortable warmth.
This is a Spear +3, and has transformation property.
Normally, it is in the form of a clockwork owl; and turns into spear, at your will, much like a cantrip. Once it hits your target, it turns back into an owl, and flies back to you.
When you make an ranged attack with it, you can expend a charge; which thus, imposes an constitution saving throw, on the target.
The DC for this saving throw is 14 + your intelligence modifer.
On a fail, the target is killed outright. On a success, the target instead takes a 10d10 radiant damage, and is stunned.
Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
Notes: To attune, you must spend 3 long rests, withbit in your possession., Damage, Combat, Sentient, Thrown, Versatile, Sap

Posted Jun 19, 2021Cool idea, but the wording is a little strange. I'd suggest looking at some official magic items in the DM's guide to see the standard format.
