A smooth stone of dull gray, the Amnesia Stone can only be identified by casting identify. Once identified in this way, the creature that cast the spell immediately forgets what the stone is, where it came from and what it does. Otherwise, the stone is inert and has no other magical properties.
If the Amnesia Stone is targeted by detect magic, it radiates a very strong sense of Enchantment magic.
