The amulet contains a crackling crystal that has the essence of an elemental plane of fire. You can use the amulet as a spellcasting focus while you hold or wear it. While wearing it, the Amulet gives you a boost to your font of magic, giving you additional spell points equal to your charisma modifier.
When you use a Metamagic option on a spell while you are holding or wearing the amulet, you can use this property.
Fire. One target of the spell that you can see catches fire. The burning target takes 1d10 fire damage at the start of its next turn, and then the flames go out.
Desperation Effect: If the need is great, the user can get an additional 5 sorcery points by breaking the amulet. Once the amulet is broken it no longer provides the above effects but can be repaired by any jeweler or artificer for 1000 pp. A repaired amulet has its effects restored.
