The battle ended, you look around and see you friend on the ground, motionless. You quickly rush to him as you take a feather from your pouch. It's red and warm to the touch, the size of your forearm. You rest the feather on the chest of your friend and take a step back. The feather bursts in flames as light involves the body. A moment passes, the light disappears and the feather is gone. Your friend awakens.
As an action you, can place the Phoenix Feather on a creature that has died within the last hour. Once you do this the Phoenix Feather vanishes consumed by fire.
That creature returns to life with half its maximum hit points.
The Phoenix Feather neutralizes any poisons and cures normal diseases afflicting the creature when it died. It doesn’t however, return to life a creature that has died of old age, nor can it restore any missing body parts, remove magical diseases, curses, and the like; if such effects aren’t removed prior to using this item, they afflict the target on its return to life.
The Phoenix Feather has no effect on undead or constructs and it is not consumed when used on those.
Notes: You may roll to find 1d4 Phoenix Feathers after fighting a Phoenix., Healing, Utility, Consumable
