Amulet of the Blood Hunter

A symbol of the Blood Hunter Orders that is unique to each Blood Hunter, this magic amulet warns you of danger. While the amulet is around your neck, you have advantage on initiative rolls. In addition, you can’t be surprised, except when incapacitated by something other than nonmagical sleep. The amulet magically awakens you if you are sleeping naturally when combat begins. When Aberrations, Elementals, Fiends, Fey, Monstrosities, or Undead are nearby, the amulet will hum and vibrate at an intensity based on the size of the creature or the number of creatures. The larger the creature or more that are present in an area, the stronger the hum and vibrations become.
