Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement)

A relic of a long forgotten martyr who once stood resolute against impossible odds to protect The Blessed Isles of Elysium against an invading evil.

Though little more than an intricate, broken sword hilt, in the hands of the righteous a blade of golden lightning appears from the shattered silver blade. The crossguard is made in the shape of angelic wings made of gold and trimmed with silver. The pike symbol of the Fìrinn Iomlan is engraved upon the hilt, just below the blade. The handle is wrapped in a sturdy dark colored leather and the pommel is shaped into a point resembling the head of a pike.

This +2 Longsword deals an additional 2d6 lightning damage upon a hit and also allows it's wielder to cast the Thaumaturgy cantrip.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
