You wield the power of the light itself as you bring peace to the undead.

This weapon can only be used by Paladins and Clerics. Their alignment has to be lawful good.

Undead creatures hit by this weapon receive an additional +2 radiant damage.

Purification

Whenever you inflict radiant damage with the Angels Embrace, the enemy hit gains a “Stack of Purification”. After gaining four (4) or more stacks, you can use “Cleanse all Evil”. After gaining six (6) or more stacks, you can use “Dawnbringer”.

 

Cleanse all Evil

You ease your mind and put your faith in the gods as you prepare to unleash the light inside you. This takes away your action for this turn. The next round, after “Cleanse all Evil” is prepared, you can purify all evil around you, dealing 1D12 radiant damage to all enemies afflicted by four (4) Stacks of Purification. The target has to succeed on a DC13 Constitution Saving Throw, otherwise the target will be set on fire after taking the damage. If the target dies as a result of the initial attack or the fire damage, the corpse is turned to ashes and cannot be resurrected.

 

Dawnbringer

You are the messenger of your god, finally bringing peace to the undead. In your turn, you can use your action to bring peace to one (1) undead creature you are able to see, that is afflicted by six (6)Stacks of Purification”. You can then proceed to call upon the gods to borrow their strength. The chosen target witnesses the true power of the gods, dying as the result. The target has to succeed on a DC16 Constitution Saving Throw to survive. On a successful Saving Throw, the target takes 2D20 radiant damage instead and is additionally set on fire. If the target dies as a result of the initial attack or the fire damage, the corpse will explode, setting all undead creatures in a 10ft radius around the initial target on fire. The initial target turns to ashes and cannot be resurrected.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
