The Odogaron is an extremely hyper aggressive creature, eschewing all defence for pure offence. From its body structure, any hunter can tell that this creature has evolved to become nothing but a predator, hunting prey larger than itself with reckless abandon. The Animus Shield embodies the Odogaron's aggressive soul and strangely, causes the wielder to also attack recklessly, almost as if the soul rejects the notion that it was created as a shield.
While holding this shield, you have a +3 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC. In addition you have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with melee weapons whilst holding this shield.
Raid Power: When you make your first attack on your turn, you can decide to attack recklessly. Doing so gives you advantage on melee attack rolls during this turn, but attack rolls against you have advantage until your next turn.
Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
