Simple design, sturdy construction and perfectly balanced.
Aegiess is a two-handed greatsword. The blade has a wolf head carved into the pommel, a midnight blue leather grip and a small forget-me-not flower etched above the cross guard. An aquamarine gemstone that adorns the sword is imbued with magic to give the sword its arcane properties.
Combat Portent You can replace any ability check, attack roll or saving throw made by you or a hostile creature that you can see with this one d20 roll. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only when in combat once per day. The charge resets at the beginning of each dawn.
Guard The first time you attack with the sword on each of your turns, you can transfer the sword's bonus to Armour Class, instead of using the bonus on any attack that turn. You gain a +2 bonus while wielding this weapon.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
