This string of amethyst beads are formed from the thick crystalline scales of an Amethyst dragon. These beads when utilized by a monk of the relevant path, are able to store up to 3 charges of Ki to be used later on to restore or empower themselves or allies. The string can be connected to itself to be worn as a necklace or be attached to a weapon to infuse the Ki directly into your actions. Beads infused Ki energy begin to emanate a faint glow from the power inside of it.
Ki Storing- To store Ki into a bead, you must spend an hour in meditation to infuse one Ki point into the bead.
Ki Channeling- As a bonus action you can activate one of the beads to do one of the following:- Infused strike, Ki Recovery, Spiritual Healing.
Infused strike- Once a bead has been activated, and you hit with a melee attack you can expend the bead's charge to do an additional (2d8) force damage to the target
Ki Recovery- Once a bead has been activated, you can expend the bead's charge to regain one ki point.
Spiritual Healing- Once a bead has been activated, you can expend the bead's charge to heal yourself or an ally for (1d10)+ your monk level hitpoints.
