You have resistance to cold damage while you wear this armor. This armor appears as a set of regular leather armor until attuned to where it then covers the wearer in a thick icy armor with an ac equaling that of half plate(15.) once a day while attuned to this armor you can cast the Armor of Agathys spell without the use of a spell slot or requiring material components. If hit with a natural 20 while wearing this armor the ice shatters causing the AC to now equal that of leather armor(12.) The armor stays in this form until you finish a long rest where it then returns to its previous state. While the armor is broken in this way it can not be used cast the Armor of Agathys spell.
Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
