The axe made of a blue crystal which pulses and swirls with inner light, confers on its wielder a powerful magical mania as it senses their life force draining.
This axe is a +1 weapon. When the wielder is at or below 50% HP, they gain +1AC. While below 25% health and raging, you can choose to use a bonus action to deal 4 cold damage to all creatures within 10 ft of you. When the wielder is at 1HP, every attack that hits counts as a critical hit, regardless of any other effects including adamantine armour that may try to block the damage.
Once per day, when you succeed on a saving throw against damage, your axe will absorb any damage you would take.
Blood Letting: Lose 50% of your current health immediately, regain 20% of your current health at the start of your turn for the next three turns and your reach becomes 10ft, as the axe creates a magical slicing wave that arcs through the air and hits your enemies from afar.
Melee Expert: While below 25% health, your senses and reactions heighten. Instead of your normal multi-attack, you can perform one melee attack against as many creatures as are in range. This cannot be used with GWM, and each attack has a -5 to hit.
Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
