Weapon (longsword), artifact (requires attunement)

A sword that has gone by many names, the Ancient Sword of the Meth King changes its attributes based on the soul of the wearer. It has passed through many planes of existence, and been possessed by many. The abilities listed below are by no means meant to be comprehensive. There is no telling what unusual realties or owners the Ancient Sword has seen.

While attuned to this weapon you gain expertise in Insight and Deception as well as advantage on Charisma saving throws.

The following abilities are tied to certain magical skills and as such are not available to all who attune to it. This means that while the Ancient Sword of the Meth King can be attuned to by anyone, if the character cannot expend spell slots, then they cannot access these abilities. Such an individual will experience a sense that they are not utilizing their weapon to its maximum capacity.

Each of the following abilities requires you to use an action to expend spell slots equivalent to the ability's cost to activate it. If the expended spell slot is greater than 1, its converted value is equal to its level.

Soul Reaper - 2 - The Ancient Sword of the Meth King gains the following abilities for 1 hour: Its range becomes 15ft and when you hit with an attack from the Ancient Sword, the target takes an additional 2d8 necrotic damage, and you gain life equal to the damage dealt.

Light of the King - 1 - The Ancient Sword of the Meth King emits a illuminating radiance of sunlight for 1 hour, providing daylight for 60ft, bright light for an additional 30ft, and dim light for another 60ft. The brilliant light can be temporarily dismissed by stating the command word, "Gramr".

This weapon is magical and provides a bonus modifier to attack rolls and damage rolls equal to its attuned user's proficiency bonus - 2, with a minimum value of +1.

As mentioned before, please feel free to add or remove abilities of this artifact. It is meant to evolve to suit the desires and personality of its user.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Advantage: Charisma Saving Throws, Expertise: Deception, Expertise: Insight, Damage, Combat, Versatile, Sap
