This weapon has 4 charges. While attuned to the weapon, you may spend 1 charge to cast detect magic or Aganazzar's scorcher. You can spend 2 charges to force up to two creatures within 60 ft of you to make a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you for 2 rounds. The creature(s) can repeat the saving throw at the start of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success. Once that happens, the creature(s) are immune to this ability for 17 hours. You can spend 3 charges to choose up to four of your allies within 50 ft of you that can see you. For 1 minute, each of those allies makes attack rolls with advantage and can't be frightened.
Proficiency with a Morningstar allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
